Job Summary
Conduct segments of treatment programs to restore physical, social, and mental functions while serving as a co-leader in interdisciplinary patient groups. Complete evaluations to ensure quality standards, establish individualized treatment and discharge plans, and provide therapy interventions using appropriate protocols. Perform comprehensive clinical documentation within established deadlines and supervise assigned assistants. Maintain Occupational Therapy licensure, NBCOT certification, and CPR/BLS certification as required for state of practice. This role supports Adventist Health Castle's 160-bed hospital and eight medical offices in Kailua, O'ahu, contributing to a Malcolm Baldrige Award-winning healthcare provider known for its laid-back lifestyle and close-knit community.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD)
- Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' occupational therapy experience
