Job Summary
Occupational Therapist assesses, plans, organizes and participates in rehabilitative programs to restore or improve ADLs, functional mobility, cognition, strength, coordination and range of motion for patients. Provides treatment planning, selects activities to progress toward goals, revises plans with patient/family input, educates patients and families, and provides discharge instructions and referrals. Maintains documentation per guidelines, collaborates with physicians on care plans, and ensures ethical practice, confidentiality, and timely, team-based care within inpatient rehab. Requires OT licensure and BLS certifications; Day shift position at an inpatient rehab facility.
Required Qualifications
- OT - Occupational Therapist
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
