Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) for Inpatient Rehab on Day shift. Responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing rehabilitation plans of care to improve activities of daily living, functional mobility, cognitive tasks, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Performs documentation per departmental protocols, provides patient/family education, discharge planning, and coordinates with physicians and staff. Requires engagement in professional development, adherence to ethical standards, infection prevention, and strong communication and teamwork to support patients and the care team. Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification are required; prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting is implied by the role’s responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- OT licensure (OT)
- BLS certification (or Instructor) per requirements
- Ability to provide patient care, education, and documentation in line with department protocols
