Job Summary
Occupational Therapist evaluates and plans rehabilitation programs to restore or improve independence in activities of daily living, functional mobility, cognitive tasks, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Responsibilities include implementing and revising treatment plans, selecting appropriate activities, educating patients and families, providing discharge instructions and follow-up, coordinating with physicians and staff, and documenting evaluations and plans of care in accordance with departmental guidelines. Requires OT education (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and active licensure; emphasizes collaboration, ethical practice, infection prevention, and adherence to professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- OT licensure (state-specific)
- BLS certification or ARC-BLS
