Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (PRN/Weekends) independently evaluates and determines treatment strategies, delivering and/or delegating OT services to identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate functional limitations. Addresses ADL, IADL, education, work, play, leisure, and social participation; targets psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components to promote safety and performance. Requires current OT licensure and BLS certification; inpatient rehabilitation experience is desirable. Strong verbal/written communication, organizational, time-management, prioritization, analytical thinking, and attention to detail are essential. PRN/weekend schedule at Tulsa Rehabilitation Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- BLS certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (online certification not acceptable)
Desired Qualifications
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience
- Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames
- BLS certification (American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross)
