Occupational Therapist PRN Weekends

Job Summary
Evaluates and delivers occupational therapy services to rehabilitate patients, developing treatment strategies and addressing dysfunction in ADL/IADL, cognition, and sensorimotor skills to maximize independence. Provides interventions to promote safety and performance in daily activities, education, work, play, leisure, and social participation; emphasizes communication, organization, time management, and critical thinking. Requires active state OT licensure and BLS certification; inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred. PRN weekend shift at Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital with a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross
Desired Qualifications
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
