Job Summary
Evaluate clients and provide Occupational Therapy upon physician orders, managing and supervising OT assistants and rehabilitation aides in direct client care. Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate departmental OT services, including scheduling, transportation, and filing. Comply with the Occupational Therapy Practice Act in Colorado while performing special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services. This PRN role supports individualized health care needs for older adults across Delta, Montrose, and Ouray counties within a Medicare/Medicaid-certified home health agency.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed or registered in the state of Colorado as an Occupational Therapist.
- Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association or is eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association under its requirements.
- A minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.
