Conduct direct occupational therapy evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatments for patients, including setting goals, making discharge recommendations, and providing patient and family education. Collaborate with physicians, patients, family, and other health care team members regarding treatment progress and effective discharge planning. Coordinate personal schedule based on patient treatment demands and departmental responsibilities while utilizing appropriate documentation forms and maintaining department equipment. Maintain Continuing Education Units per state requirements and adhere to Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations. This PRN role is part of one of the largest healthcare systems in the Baltimore-Washington metro region.
