Occupational Therapist PRN Outpatient Neuro at MedStar Georgetown UniversityHospital

Conduct direct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations, assessing patient functioning to set goals and recommend discharge. Deliver therapeutic interventions including patient and family education, while utilizing standard documentation forms and collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team on treatment progress and discharge planning. Coordinate personal schedules to meet patient treatment demands and maintain department equipment and supplies. Maintain Continuing Education Units per state requirements and adhere to Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, one to two years of acute care or rehabilitation experience, and a current D.C. license or qualification.
