Occupational Therapist PRN Outpatient Neuro at MedStar Georgetown UniversityHospital

Conduct direct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations, including assessment of patient functioning, goal setting, and discharge recommendations. Deliver therapeutic interventions and patient/family education while utilizing appropriate documentation forms. Collaborate with physicians, families, and affiliated agencies regarding treatment progress and effective discharge planning. Coordinate personal schedule based on patient treatment demands and maintain department equipment and supplies. Maintain Continuing Education Units per state requirements and adhere to Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, 1-2 years of acute care or rehabilitation experience, and a current D.C. license.
