Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit using the Practice of Occupational Therapy Act/Rules process, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, ongoing re-assessment, and discharge planning. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to render professional and technical occupational therapy services while communicating clearly, building relationships, and promoting a collaborative environment. Maintain accountability for performance, seek ways to improve the patient experience, and take initiative for professional growth within a Magnet-designated hospital offering Level III NICU services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Occupational Therapy
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Required Valid Texas License or Temporary License
- 1 year licensed Occupational Therapist
