Job Summary
Occupational Therapist PRN in an NICU setting. Provides highly technical occupational therapy to NICU patients, including evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing reassessment and discharge planning. Works with a multidisciplinary team to deliver care. Requires a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy, current BLS, and a valid Texas license (or temporary license) with at least 1 year of licensed OT experience. Responsibilities emphasize clear communication, collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement of patient experience, professional growth, and teamwork within a Magnet-designated, Level III NICU in a top-t-rated hospital with extensive transplant programs and national recognitions. Location: Methodist Dallas Medical Center, Dallas, TX (inpatient hospital setting).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Occupational Therapy
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Required Valid Texas License or Temporary License
- 1 year licensed Occupational Therapist
