Occupational Therapist - PRN

Job Summary
Assumes full responsibility for evaluating patients' need for occupational therapy and plans individual treatment programs in accordance with Michigan licensure and OT scope of practice. Responsibilities include evaluating patient conditions, establishing and documenting treatment goals, collaborating with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, and providing patient education. Must comply with hospital policies and maintain productivity expectations while adhering to standards of behavior. Competence in relevant software and documentation of patient status is required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Licensure is required in every US State and Territory the Therapist is practicing
- Possesses and maintains BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in interdisciplinary patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively with treatment team members
- Demonstrated competence in relevant software and hardware as required by job responsibilities
