Occupational Therapist - PRN Inpatient Adult at MedStar Georgetown UniversityHospital

Conduct direct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations, including assessment of prior and current functioning, goal setting, and discharge recommendations. Deliver treatments according to standards of practice, incorporating patient and family education, treatment plan progression, and therapeutic interventions. Utilize appropriate documentation forms while collaborating with physicians, patients, family, and affiliated agencies regarding effective discharge planning. Coordinate personal schedule relative to patient treatment demands and maintain department equipment. Maintain Continuing Education Units per state requirements and adhere to Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations. Requires current D.C. license, Bachelor's degree, and 1-2 years of acute care or rehabilitation experience.
