Occupational Therapist - PRN Inpatient Adult at MedStar Georgetown UniversityHospital

Conduct direct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations, including assessment of patient functioning, goal setting, and discharge recommendations. Deliver therapeutic interventions, patient and family education, and treatment plan progression while utilizing appropriate documentation forms. Collaborate with physicians, patients, and affiliated agencies regarding effective discharge planning. Coordinate personal schedule to meet patient treatment and departmental demands, maintain department equipment, and complete state-required continuing education units. Adhere to all Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, one to two years of acute care or rehabilitation experience, and a current D.C. license.
