Job Summary
Administer and interpret diagnostic tests to evaluate patient function, then confer with physicians to develop and revise treatment plans. Deliver therapeutic instruction to restore strength and coordination while designing adaptive equipment for home environments. Supervise assistants and aides, train families on daily living skills, and coordinate discharge planning with interdisciplinary teams. Document all care observations, interventions, and evaluations thoroughly. Maintain a valid driver's license and auto insurance for home visits. Minimum six months of occupational therapy experience required.
