Occupational Therapist (PRN - Flexible Hours)

Job Summary
Conduct pediatric occupational therapy using play and therapeutic activities to develop motor, sensory, visual, and decision-making skills. Complete assessments, develop individualized plans of care, and provide interventions while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to AOTA ethics. Communicate with families and interdisciplinary teams to adjust therapy plans, supervise assistants and students, and recommend referrals or equipment. Work flexible Monday-Friday hours between 8am and 6pm at the Johnston clinic. This role supports ChildServe's mission to help children with special healthcare needs live a great life through coordinated pediatric rehabilitation and autism services.
Required Qualifications
- A degree from an AOTA approved occupational therapy program
- Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with pediatrics
- Experience with autism and motor impairment
