Job Summary
Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental barriers to function. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving activities of daily living, upper extremity strength/mobility, cognition, and adaptive skills. Provide hands-on therapy interventions to restore independence and promote safety. Recommend and train on assistive devices, adaptive techniques, and environmental modifications. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support whole-person care. Educate patients and caregivers on techniques for long-term success at home and in the community. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge plans accurately and in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state license (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- A patient-first mindset with a drive to make meaningful, lasting change
