Job Summary
Facilitate efficient oversight of rehabilitation services in assigned accounts by overseeing a community care team, planning schedules, and conducting biweekly team meetings. Provide direct patient care, routine customer relations touch points, and make referrals to other disciplines to address comprehensive patient needs. Monitor adherence to care delivery standards, practice act compliance, and evidence-based care while coordinating daily staffing and financial controls with leadership. Ensure clinical management of the department, including case management and quality improvement, is overseen by a licensed therapist. Develop and maintain relationships with facility management teams and assist in securing new contracts.
Required Qualifications
- graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by AOTA - ACOTE standards
- Bachelor's degree from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by AOTA - ACOTE standards
- 5 years of progressively responsible OT experience
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- able to practice occupational therapy per state guidelines
- licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
