Job Summary
Occupational Therapist needed for outpatient orthopedic care at Spine & Sport Physical Therapy in El Cajon, CA. Responsibilities include performing OT evaluations and treatment, supervising clinical staff, ensuring proper documentation and Medicare/MIPS-compliant billing, collaborating with physicians/NPs, conducting hand therapy, splinting and splint fabrication, delivering robust patient education, developing and progressing home exercise programs, caseload management, and participating in weekly staff meetings. Requires BS/MOT or higher, CA OT license, and experience with hand/upper extremity conditions (post-op tendon repairs, hand injuries). Proficiency with Raintree EMR and Physitrack for HEPs is preferred. Opportunities include clinical residency program, ongoing education, mentorship, and competitive incentives. Required Qualifications
- Education: BS, MOT or greater
- Licenses: Occupational Therapy license in good standing with the California Board of Occupational Therapy
- Experience: Clinical experience in outpatient Orthopedic setting
- Hand experience preferred
- Good verbal communication skills
