Job Summary
Review physician referrals and patient records to select appropriate evaluation procedures for identifying functional abilities and disabilities. Apply professional judgment and discretion in patient management and program development across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility departments. Provide assistance across these settings as needed while utilizing analytical thinking to solve problems independently. Manage patients with diverse personalities and write reports and correspondence at a professional level. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, current California license, and 2-3 years of acute care or rehabilitation experience. Per diem schedule with travel between Quincy and Greenville offices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited education institution
- Current California Occupational Therapist License
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification, approved by the AHA
- Two to three (2-3) years' experience in an acute care hospital, rehabilitation center and outpatient setting
- Completion of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)-accredited residency program
