Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) per diem in Fellowship Village, Basking Ridge, NJ. Evaluate residents and develop individualized OT treatment plans to improve self-care, home management, mobility, and activities of daily living. Deliver OT treatments, educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and home safety, and use assistive devices. Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, physicians, and caregivers. Maintain documentation in compliance with policies and regulations; participate in care planning meetings; may assist with group therapy and ensure resident safety and independence during interventions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current New Jersey Occupational Therapist license required.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and intervention skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care to older adults.
