Job Summary
Assess client needs and family priorities as part of an interdisciplinary team for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (age 2-18). Complete standardized assessments, develop treatment plans based on results, and consult with Behaviour Analysts supervising Applied Behaviour Analysis Programs. Collaborate with families and community professionals while maintaining knowledge of evidence-based practices and collecting data for treatment decisions. Supervise students pursuing education in Occupational Therapy and contribute to clinical policies through the Monarch House department.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 years' experience working with children with ASD
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience and familiarity with assessment tools (standardized tests, etc.)
- Knowledge of current research and literature in the Occupational Therapist (OT) field
- Member of COTBC / COTO / ACOT or eligible to apply
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to take initiative
- Flexibility in scheduling clients
