Job Summary
Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency, and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with referring physicians. Provide comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for pediatric patients with diagnoses including sensory processing, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, and feeding disorders. Supervise and delegate care for each patient while adhering to state Practice Act guidelines and federal regulations. Document all patient care responsibilities and participate in designing new programs or procedures approved by the manager and physicians. Stay current with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice methods.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy
- State occupational therapist license (or eligibility)
- CPR certification
- Valid state driver's license
