Job Summary
Assumes full responsibility for evaluating patients' need for occupational therapy; plans and executes individual treatment programs in accordance with licensure and OT scope of practice; collaborates with patients and families to establish goals; documents progress and coordinates discharge planning; provides patient and family education; supervises occupational therapy students and participates in program development and research; engages in interdisciplinary collaboration and adheres to organizational standards of care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Licensure is required in every US State and Territory the Therapist is practicing
- Possesses and maintains BLS certification
