Job Summary
Contract Occupational Therapist provides pediatric OT services to medically fragile children, conducts evaluations, designs individualized treatment plans to support fine/gross motor development and functional mobility, delivers engaging developmentally appropriate therapy sessions, maintains HIPAA-compliant documentation, educates families on goals and mobility strategies, and collaborates with nurses, therapists, case managers, and families within a pediatric care team. The role requires pediatric licensure, CPR, and willingness to work within a flexible daytime schedule in Lakeland, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Prefer 1 year of pediatric experience (PPEC, early intervention, or medically fragile population experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Current CPR certification and ability to pass a Level II background screening
