Job Summary
Independent Contractor Occupational Therapist in Fredericksburg, VA. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized OT treatment plans, delivering therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills, mobility, coordination, strength, and independence; assess home and environmental safety; educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and home exercise programs; monitor progress and adjust plans; maintain accurate documentation; collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team; deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with autonomy and flexible scheduling; compensation is per visit (or equivalent annualized range) with 1099 status. Must hold an Active Virginia OT license and graduate from an accredited OT program; strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently; reliable transportation; experience in home health, outpatient, or rehabilitation preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active Virginia Occupational Therapist license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- Home health, outpatient, or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required
