Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy services for older adults within the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) at the South LA center, focusing on comprehensive medical care and daily needs support. Communicate effectively with participants, caregivers, and stakeholders across healthcare, administrative, community, and remote environments while operating clinical tools and documentation systems. Perform tasks involving lifting up to 50 pounds, traveling between work sites, and adhering to infection control protocols and PPE requirements. Work part-time, 16-24 hours per week, with a specific schedule determined at offer.
Required Qualifications
- National Certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association or eligible for National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
- A minimum of one year experience working with the frail or elderly
- A state issued driver's license
- personal transportation
- auto insurance
- proof of vaccination or a signed declination form for COVID-19 and influenza
- compliance with applicable masking requirements while in a care setting to the extent permitted by law
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years as a practicing OT
- Bilingual: Spanish/English
- additional / other languages
- PACE experience
- ADCH/CBAS experience
