Job Summary

Conduct Occupational Therapy Evaluations, establish age-specific plans of care, and manage discharge planning for patients across various treatment arenas. Perform clinical responsibilities using appropriate treatment modalities while documenting therapy care, progress, and education in the EMR. Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and medical staff to modify treatment programs and communicate post-discharge resource needs. Oversee Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel to ensure professional standards are met. Participate in program development, performance improvement initiatives, and community outreach events as necessary. Maintain accurate billing documentation and insurance authorizations to maximize revenue while adhering to payor guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
