Occupational Therapist

Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans. Provide skilled OT interventions in accordance with physician orders and established care plans to help patients improve performance in ADLs, mobility, cognition, and functional independence. Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and families to coordinate care. Complete timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility requirements. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and discharge planning. Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapeutic techniques and home programs. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and professional standards of practice.
