Job Summary
Per Diem Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the interdisciplinary team; supervise COTAs, aides, and students; participate in care conferences and rehab meetings; educate residents and caregivers on safety, fall prevention, adaptive equipment, and home programs; maintain timely documentation; support quality-improvement and restorative nursing programs. California-licensed OT with a Bachelor's degree is required; CPR certification if licensure requires; new graduates encouraged to apply. Familiarity with Net Health and PointClickCare is a plus. Flexible schedule in a skilled-nursing rehabilitation setting with an interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in California
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- CPR Certification if required by licensure
- New Graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in skilled nursing preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
