Job Summary
Conduct top-of-scope direct patient care, including various imaging and radiologic procedures, while creating tailored intervention plans to help patients develop, regain, or maintain skills for daily living. Facilitate participation in meaningful activities through creative problem-solving and teaching new task performance methods. Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers regarding their conditions, treatment strategies, safety precautions, and adaptive equipment usage. Model proficiency by precepting new staff in imaging and radiologic procedures within a multidisciplinary team approach. Work onsite at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Pavilion 2 in a fast-paced clinical environment, maintaining current Colorado licensure and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current licensure with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
