Job Summary
Occupational Therapist in Outpatient Rehabilitation at Atrium Health Gateway: conducts patient evaluations and develops plans of care focusing on upper-extremity function, activities of daily living, and lymphedema management; provides clinical leadership within an interdisciplinary team and collaborates with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities include documenting assessments, implementing plans of care, discharge planning, and mentoring teammates; requires OT degree, state licensure, and BLS certification, with preference for lymphedema (CLT) certification or oncology rehabilitation experience. Full-time role with Saturday coverage every six weeks; compensation ranges from $33.05 to $49.60 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- state license to practice Occupational Therapy
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association)
- Lymphedema certification or willingness to obtain (preferred)
- Hours: 40/week; one Saturday every 6 weeks
- OT licensure eligibility in North Carolina (or applicable state)
