Job Summary
Occupational Therapist needed for Otterbein Staffing Agency with PRN scheduling across Otterbein communities (independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, rehab, memory care, hospice). Responsibilities include initial evaluations and ongoing patient assessments, planning and reevaluating plans of care, providing skilled OT modalities, documenting per laws and policies, participating in multidisciplinary teams, addressing patient/family cultural practices, educating patients/family/caregivers, supervising COTAs, conducting regular record reviews and home visits, planning discharge and connecting with community resources, maintaining current knowledge, participating in Quality Improvement, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Requires Ohio OT licensure and a minimum of two years of OT experience; CPR on file; ability to supervise COTAs and work in home health, hospice, and community settings. Schedule: PRN with pay per visit and weekend differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist for the State of Ohio
- Education: Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and AOTA; or eligibility for the National Registration Examination; or two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist with proficiency in a US Public Health Service-approved examination
