Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments evaluating physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using standardized tools. Develop personalized treatment plans to enhance clients' functional abilities and educate families on adaptive equipment and environmental modifications. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and progress while advocating for client needs and community resource access. Work full-time in an assisted living community housing 148 adults, earning $45-$48 per hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to lift and assist patients as needed
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to perform physical tasks related to therapy
