Job Summary
Provide and direct all aspects of quality patient care as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) at Avamere Ridgemont. Perform evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, set patient and family goals, educate families, and document according to organizational guidelines. Serve as a rehabilitation advocate for current and prospective patients and collaborate with internal and external customers. Direct and supervise assistants and rehab staff within state/federal guidelines; ensure patient and staff safety; pursue ongoing professional development and participate in quality assurance activities. Maintain professional licensure, coordinate care with the rehab team, and support department operations while adhering to payer guidelines and documentation requirements. CPR certification and strong English communication are required; familiarity with Medicare and payer sources is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy curriculum
- Licensed in Washington
- CPR certification
- Proficient in English (read, write, speak)
- Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources
- Maintains licensure and credentialing
- Able to multitask and communicate effectively with patients and care team
