Job Summary
The Registered Occupational Therapist will perform diagnostic evaluations and develop/implement treatment plans to maximize patients’ functional abilities within community living. Responsibilities include administering and writing evaluations, designing and delivering therapy to improve strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination; instructing patients and families in adaptive techniques and equipment; fabricating splints and adaptive devices; providing environmental design and preventive strategies to support independent living; conducting home assessments and coordinating with the care team to support residents’ goals; and ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with policies, and ongoing patient-centered care. Qualifications require a Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy, current AOTA registration, and experience with adaptive equipment; leadership and customer-service orientation are valued. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy
- Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association
- One year of experience preferred
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
