Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) for WCEL Early Support Services. Responsible for developing and implementing family-centered evaluations, assessments, and therapy routines for children enrolled in the ES program; create IFSPs in collaboration with families; provide and coordinate services in natural environments (home, childcare, community settings); work as part of an interdisciplinary team; maintain accurate records, time tracking, and data management; participate in team meetings and professional development; host interns or arrange job shadowing; requires WA OT license and advanced degree; CPR certification and experience with infants/toddlers with special health care needs are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program
- State of Washington Occupational Therapy license (DOH)
- State of Washington driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle
- Infant/Toddler CPR certification (can be completed post-hire)
- Experience with infants and toddlers with special health care needs and families
- Knowledge in pre-feeding activities, bottle feeding, breastfeeding, and transitioning from tube to oral feeding (preferred)
