Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for WEL residents at multiple sites, including Pennypack Park and Doylestown. Perform evaluations and range of motion exercises to improve daily living abilities, while instructing families and caregivers in therapeutic techniques. Direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and Aides, manage caseloads, and ensure compliance with federal, state regulations, and accreditation standards. Document daily treatments, progress notes, and Minimum Data Set (MDS) sections; submit monthly billing data to Finance. Represent the department in care, staffing, and interdisciplinary meetings. Requires a current Pennsylvania license, AOTA certification, and three to five years of skilled nursing facility experience.
Required Qualifications
- Three to five years of experience in skilled nursing facility setting
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the American Occupational Therapy Association and certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Current unrestricted licensed as required in the state of Pennsylvania
- Registered with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
