Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates, plans, and implements individualized treatment programs to help patients develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills within the PACE program. The role supports seniors in achieving optimal independence, safety, and quality of life through therapeutic interventions aligned with interdisciplinary care plans. Requires a degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate) and current NBCOT certification with Colorado state licensure; 1+ years of experience with elderly populations preferred. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills; familiarity with rehabilitation techniques and adaptive equipment; proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, EHR; and ability to collaborate effectively in a healthcare team. Location: Grand Junction, CO; Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm. Sign-on bonus of $10,000 available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Masters, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- 1-3 years experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred
- 1 years' experience working with elderly population required
- NBCOT registration and Colorado state licensure
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and patient education skills
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and adaptive equipment
- Team collaboration and time management skills
- MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and EHR proficiency
- Bilingual fluency (optional)
