Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) needed for the school year to conduct evaluations of students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs; develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans; provide direct OT services to enhance fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation; collaborate with teachers and families to integrate therapy into learning; recommend adaptive equipment and assistive tech; maintain documentation per OSPI/IDEA; participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions; provide training to teachers and staff on strategies to support independence; contract opportunities up to 40 hours per week with pay packages and dedicated support from a Relationship Manager; includes benefits such as paid time off, holidays, professional development reimbursement, and 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Washington State Occupational Therapy License (issued by the Washington Department of Health – DOH)
- Washington OSPI Approval as a Related Service Provider (required for some districts, but not all)
- NBCOT Certification preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
