Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) sought for the school year to conduct evaluations and assessments, develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans, provide direct OT services to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation, collaborate with teachers and families, recommend adaptive equipment and classroom modifications, maintain compliant documentation, participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions, and train staff on strategies to support student independence in a school-based setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Arizona OT License (issued by the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners)
- Arizona Department of Education (ADE) certification or ability to obtain one (if required for school-based roles)
- NBCOT Certification preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance Card & Background Check required
