Job Summary
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and the interdisciplinary care team. Provide occupational therapy services focused on restoring function, independence, and quality of life while conducting screenings to identify those needing intervention. Supervise and collaborate with COTA staff as applicable, initiate referrals per department procedures, and document clearly to support quality outcomes. This in-house role offers a clinician-led environment where therapy time is protected from non-therapy tasks, featuring mentorship for new graduates and a commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care within a family-owned senior living network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for OTR
- Current OT license or license-eligible
- Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in SNF therapy under a contract model
