Job Summary
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans while conducting screenings to identify those needing intervention. Provide occupational therapy services focused on restoring function, independence, and quality of life through direct clinical care. Supervise and collaborate with COTA staff as applicable, and initiate referrals when appropriate in accordance with department procedures. Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes. This in-house role prioritizes clinician-led care within a family-owned organization, offering mentorship and autonomy to focus on patient-centered interventions rather than contract metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for OTR
- Current OT license or license-eligible
- Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in SNF therapy under a contract model
