Job Summary
Evaluate clients by obtaining and interpreting subjective and objective data, then develop personalized treatment plans with short-term and long-term goals aligned with physician orders. Document all services accurately and timely using Vivie's EMR system while demonstrating thorough understanding of payer sources and authorization requirements. Maintain clear communication with clients, families, referral sources, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care delivery. Complete and document supervisory visits with OTAs and CNAs in accordance with state and regulatory guidelines. Requires current Minnesota OT license, CPR certification within six months, valid driver's license, and willingness to float across regions.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Minnesota
- CPR certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle
- Willingness to float across regions as needed
- Ability to pass state mandated background check
- Strong clinical skills in occupational rehabilitation, skilled therapy services, knowledge of evidence-based occupational therapy practices
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Physical capability to perform all job duties
- Minimum 3 shifts per month
- Travel across regions to provide client coverage as needed
