Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. Train patients and caregivers on skills promoting independence and productivity while collaborating with peers and making referrals to ensure comprehensive care. Design individualized programs tailored to patient needs across various settings. Report to the Director of Rehab in a facility-based environment within Genesis Healthcare, a certified Great Place to Work focused on patient-centered care and team growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
