Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help older adults regain independence. Design individualized programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities while training patients and caregivers on necessary skills. Collaborate with peers, make referrals for additional care, and adapt to diverse patient needs across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home-based settings. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
