Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help older adults maintain independence and thrive. Design individualized programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities through training patients and caregivers on necessary skills. Collaborate with peers to make referrals and address the whole patient as an individual, adapting to diverse needs across facility settings. This role includes on-call rotation and a full-time or part-time schedule with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401k, and free continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
