Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help older adults regain independence and thrive. Design individualized programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities while training patients and caregivers on skills for productivity. Collaborate with peers to make referrals when necessary, adapting to diverse patient needs across skilled nursing centers, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based care settings. Report to the Director of Rehab in facility locations. Full-time roles include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, and paid time off, with visa sponsorship and relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
