Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help older adults regain independence and thrive. Design individualized programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities while training patients and caregivers on skills for productivity. Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive care across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home-based settings. Report to the Director of Rehab in facility-based locations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
